It’s a comfortable, safe little vacation spot, and the service is great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room is nice, though a bit old. This isn’t the Ritz Carlton, just a cool, cozy boutique about 200 feet from the beach.

We’ve been coming every October for six years, and our friends beg to join us each time. The rooms aren’t five star like an all inclusive, but the location and amenities beat the swanky all inclusive hotels for us. The pool is just steps from the room, and the beach is only steps beyond the pool, so there’s no long walk between them. The beach is fantastic and usually has very few people. There’s a restaurant on the property. Servers come by during the day to ask if you want drinks or the very expensive Mexican and Italian food. Right on the beach, there’s also a massage hut where an hour costs $35. The massages are amazing, with the ocean waves right there as you relax. Between the easy access to the pool and beach, the restaurant, and the massage hut, it makes for a great experience. The rooms may not be the high end kind I usually enjoy on vacation, but you can’t beat everything else here. Everyone working there is kind and accommodating.

I can’t really speak to the resort itself, but I walked by the massage hut right on the sand and tried it. An hour was only $35, and my massage with Julie was great. She had magical hands and seemed well trained. My wife said hers was fabulous too. There was a nice routine, touch, and aroma therapy, with the beach and waves in the background. Nothing beats a massage on the sand.

The building is older, but it’s in decent shape, and you can watch the sunset from the patio. The staff are friendly and the restaurant food is delicious, though breakfast isn’t served. The location is fantastic, with the beach just a few minutes away. For excursions, book through Augustine, he’s great.

The grounds are immaculate, and they look after the beach every day. The pool area is peaceful, and the rooms are nicely done with big beds and small kitchens. It’s a lovely place to stay if you want to get away from the bustle of big hotels. After days out in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding areas, I looked forward to coming back and relaxing here. Riviera Grill across the street is a wonderful, laid back spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
