Marina Banderas Suites

I was in room 403 from December 12 to 26, 2025. The room was nice, but the beds had bed bugs. They moved me to room 303, and it had the same problem. I had to move to another hotel.

A charming little hotel in a great location. The rooms are HUGE, and mine even had a walk-in closet. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend booking direct. The hotel staff were helpful, and you can buy 500 ml bottles of water for 20 pesos, as well as pop. We got a large 17-litre bottle at the nearby Oxxo for 43 pesos, and the store had lots of reasonably priced food and drinks. Our room faced the marina, and we loved watching the boats from the spacious balcony with chairs, a table, and a lounge. The hotel is peaceful and very nice, with large rooms from its former life as a condo building. For shopping, we took a 130-peso taxi; prices were much lower than at Sunset Market in Paradise Plaza. You can also cross the marina by 30-peso water taxi. There’s a Subway, McDonald’s, restaurants, and shops on the north side for hotel guests.

The room felt like a home, with loads of space, a full kitchen, a big living room, and a dining table for six. It had a wraparound balcony, lots of windows, and an amazing view. From arrival until I had to leave, everyone made me feel welcome and helped with every part of the stay. The hotel is right on the marina and just up from the beach. Its restaurant serves exquisite food, and the drinks are made by hand in front of you. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was one of the most accommodating stays I’ve had, and I can’t wait to return. A real gem, and magical. The price is so good that they could easily charge five times more and it would still be worth every peso.
