The room was clean and comfortable enough, though the king bed was really two twins pushed together, and the mini fridge had no freezer. The elevator ran slowly but worked. This older hotel has been remodeled, and the staff were friendly, though knowing some Spanish is helpful. It's pet-friendly, but finding a spot to walk a pet is a bit challenging. There are plenty of choices at the restaurant across the street. I'd stay here again.

I paid about 25 dollars a night, give or take, for this very nice and affordable place. Rates could shift around major events, like the upcoming carnival in May, so call ahead.

The floor felt sticky and unpleasant, and it didn't seem properly cleaned. My wife and I were glad we had brought sandals. I had asked for a king bed, but they put two twin beds together and called it a king. This didn't feel like a 3-star hotel to me. I'd give it barely 1 star.
