The terrace was great for a relaxed dinner, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. City Centro by Marriott (in Oaxaca) has a tasteful contemporary building, and the people there really focus on the guest experience. The hotel is a nice choice for a vacation, though maybe less suited to business travel. If you're working remotely, the room furniture isn't comfortable or suitable for a PC, although you can use the business center. The restaurant stops service at 23:00hrs.

The staff were nice and the rooms clean, but don't expect quiet. You can hear absolutely everything, even luggage rolling over the tiles. I heard the lovers across the hall going at it all night. They should have spent more on insulation.

The room and hotel were great, and the heated pool was perfect on cold nights. I only wish the pool stayed open past 8pm, but we made do. No complaints.

We got a day pass for the pool in Jalatlaco. It included access, a towel, an entree, and a cocktail or other drink, maybe a little more. The location was good, the food delicious, and the drinks beautifully made. Service on the patio by the pool wasn't great. Staff didn't check in often to see if we wanted more food or drinks, and we probably would have ordered more if they had. When we did get service, though, it was excellent.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a great buffet. It's an 18-minute walk to the town center, with lots of good restaurants nearby. Nice hotel in a great area. I'd definitely return.
