Hotel Casa Rivas Culture and SPA

The service was terrible. You have to ask for everything, even towels and blankets, and there’s just one poor woman responsible for the whole hotel. She answers calls, opens the gate, takes guests to their rooms, deals with repairs, collects payments, welcomes people, and even switches on the water heater. You have to ask them to turn it on to get hot water. Mine wasn’t heating, so I had to fix it myself. The TV didn’t work, and the room cleaning was poor.

The hammering began at 7 a.m. and was extremely annoying throughout our two-day stay. The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage from the moment we arrived until we left. There was no hot water, and on the second day we had no water at all. On top of that, someone opened our door without permission twice. It seemed like they had no way to track which rooms were occupied, and we had to shout that ours was taken. The service was absolutely terrible.

The outside looks like a regular house, so you wouldn't guess it was a hotel. Inside, though, it's beautiful and has a wonderful view. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities. It was also very affordable, an excellent place.

The service and attention were top-notch, and the rooms are beautiful. I was delighted with the hotel and highly recommend it.
