La Patrona Hostal

Could be worse.

The bathroom is very small, and I’d suggest adding deodorizer to the toilet and covering the drains. But there’s so much that works well here that those things are easy to overlook. My room was super clean, they cleaned it daily, and there were no pests. I had hot water, a private bathroom, a TV with Netflix, internet, and a desk, plus very comfortable beds. The person helping me was attentive and focused on good service, and billing was immediate. There’s no central location here, though transport is accessible. Fellow travelers and backpackers can relax comfortably, with common areas, little tables, a sitting space, refrigerator, and microwave. The price is excellent and super affordable. It has everything you need for a great stay. 1000000% recommended!

The owner was very friendly and communication was excellent. It’s easy to get to the city center and other towns, and the modern security system was reassuring. Very clean, and a great spot to relax. Highly recommended.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, from management right through to the parking attendants. There’s no parking on site, but they offer a secure place to leave your vehicle. Everything else was spotless and comfortable, really impeccable. I’d definitely consider staying here again.
