The owners were very friendly, and this was possibly the quietest hotel room I’ve had in this busy part of Oaxaca. The shower pressure was poor, but they got someone to fix it right away and gave me a small discount for my second night. Everything was very clean, and there was a nice-sized TV, though I didn’t actually try it. At $320.°° pesos for one person, it’s a very inexpensive hotel and my favorite so far. It’s close to the heart of the city, including the Zocalo and Market Places. I like it.

The service was excellent, and the hotel was comfortable and a great place to relax. The market is just around the corner, with everything close by. Urban and Bens vans are across the street or just to the side, and Bens vans go to Puerto Escondido for 300 pesos per person. There’s a small restaurant across the street for lunch, and a little shop there at night where you can get dinner food like tortas and tlayudas. Highly recommended.

The bathroom is so cramped that I had to watch my head. The room itself is small too, and there's a really strong smell, maybe from the sanitizer or air freshener. It gets bothersome. For what you get, the price isn't exactly low.
