We visited Orizaba for the first time and had a great time, so we hope to return soon. The hotel is downtown, within walking distance or a short taxi ride of almost everything. Parking felt secure, the staff were very friendly, and the entrance and common area were beautiful. It was clean, too.

August 2025: Breakfast was included, with fresh fruit, tasty pastries, and local and international choices. It was FAR SUPERIOR to what you'd get at a Holiday Inn in the United States, and you can tell you're in Veracruz, México. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location is great. Front desk and restaurant service were great as well. The gym is small, but I wasn't staying for a gym. Check the pictures for more details. This will be my go-to place in Orizaba.

The beds are comfortable, but that's about it. Some rooms are new and some are old, yet they charge the same. The shower is dated, the AC and compressor are loud, the windows are noisy, and you can hear bathroom noise from next door. The phone didn't work either. The restaurant food can be good, but it's inconsistent and very expensive for what they serve. Room service was basic and not the same quality as the restaurant. Only two or three staff members were friendly. When I raised these issues, the staff didn't seem to care. There's a lot to improve, and the prices should match what they offer. It's far from the Holiday Inn standard in Mexico.
