Casa Raco Hotel Boutique Parras de la Fuente

The breakfast was very good, and the hotel itself is attractive and well located. But getting proper rest was difficult during my stay. There was a lot of noise at night and again in the morning: installation work was going on at 11:30 p.m., then around 8 a.m. the next day, staff were arguing quite loudly. The pillows also don’t match the hotel’s level or price. It’s a nice-looking place in a convenient location, but I wouldn’t choose it if a good night’s sleep is what you’re after.

The central spot makes it easy to explore town, with plenty of restaurants close by. I’d give the place 10/10. It’s an old-fashioned boutique hotel, beautiful and well kept, though boutique places won’t be for everyone. The rooms stay cool by day and warm at night, and there’s air conditioning. The bathrooms are incredibly relaxing. The jute rug is the one small nuisance, but it’s manageable. Breakfast was delicious at a clean, pleasant restaurant with lots of staff, even if the menu is limited. Reception were very friendly and ready to help, and housekeeping was helpful too. Easily the best option in Parras.

The location is good and the hotel looks nice, but there’s an extra charge for everything. There isn’t much space in the rooms to put your things, and the morning receptionist was rude and didn’t help us sort out our problem. We checked out feeling we’d had a very bad experience. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We found a parking spot nearby, even though the hotel has no parking. It’s a small boutique place with just a few rooms, cozy and quiet, right in the center. We ate breakfast at the restaurant both days, and Jared was our server each time. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the food. There were no omelets, which I think would be a nice addition, but everything else was delicious.
