Manta Raya Hotel

I came by myself for a relaxing solo vacation, and the stay was even better than I could’ve hoped for. I’ve rarely gone back to a vacation spot, but as soon as I arrived at Manta Raya I knew I’d return. Once you’re here, there’s no need to leave. I can’t agree with people who gave it four stars or less. Muchas Gracias Manta Raya! The care Reto and his team put into this hidden gem is unmatched. They’re happy to help find a solution if you have a question. Reto even helped arrange a taxi from the airport so I could shop for plant-based provisions before heading to the hotel. Everyone, from the servers to the kitchen staff and cleaners, was so friendly and nice. I’d taken countless trips, and this was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. If seclusion, amazing service, a beautiful, practically private beach, and incredible ocean views and sounds are what you want, you’ve found your place. You’ve done the hard part by finding it online. Once you book, you’re already on vacation. I emailed management before booking to ask whether I’d be able to eat at the restaurant as a vegan. Not only was that possible, they replied with menu ideas they were thinking of making for me, which really touched me. Another hotel accommodation is a short walk away and has an entirely plant-based menu, but I chose Manta Raya for its unparalleled views, beach access, and incredible reviews. I’m so glad I did. The food and cocktail menu is incredible. You might think you’d get bored with it since it’s the only game in town, but that’s absolutely not the case. They offer new appetizers every day, and the regular menu is extensive. I’ve had dinner here every night for a week, and it’s been spectacular, especially with the ocean view and beautiful sunsets. Breakfast includes fruit, bread, cereal, coffee, and tea, too. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
