LOURDES H.
We've stayed here four times now, and it's a keeper for us. The included traditional Mexican breakfast is good, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff attentive. The location worked for what we needed, though it's not near the border or downtown.

We slept well in the suite, which was private and quiet enough that we heard no noise from the city or other rooms. It also has a small private pool, and breakfast was pretty good. The restaurant next door is arguably the best in town, so be sure to stop by.

The restaurant was lovely, with excellent service and great food, but the hotel stay was awful. At check-in the front desk woman was rude, and the rooms badly need updating. The shower curtain was soaked in urine, which was disgusting and made me uncomfortable using the shower. On our second night, my girlfriend and I got back around midnight and our key wouldn't work. The desk staff couldn't open the door either. They moved us to another room, but all our things were still locked in the first one, so we couldn't change clothes or shower. I called the manager to ask for a refund for that night only, and she refused, saying I'd been rude to her employees. I hadn't been, and the door problem wasn't their fault anyway. A horrible experience.

There's a nice atmosphere and the service is very good. The tacos are well worth trying, the meat is very good, and the pizzas might be the best in Piedras Negras. The menu has plenty of choices, though the pasta and fish were just average for me, maybe that's just my taste. Getting a fiscal invoice can take a while, which was the only downside.

The food and atmosphere were so good I can't even describe them. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to me as a tourist in Mexico. It cost less than taking my family to McDonald's back in the States. You have to try it!
