We liked the spot right by the ocean, and the empty beach was good for swimming. The pool was nice, though more comfortable chairs would have helped. Rooms are roomy and have a/c, but they're very basic and need updating. The bathroom needs some urgent care, although we did have hot water. A mosquito screen on the terrace door would let you leave it open at night for fresh air. There was no restaurant or bar service, probably because it wasn't the weekend. It felt a bit pricey for what you get, though beach access may explain it. I'd avoid a weekend, since it would probably be too noisy.
