The food is delicious, and the service is good. You get a river view and a pool at an affordable price.

The noise at night made it impossible to relax: they let people drink and play loud music by the pool, right in the middle of the rooms, and no one said anything. This place is far from everything, yet it wasn't peaceful at all. Across the river in Chachalacas, there are better places with more amenities for less. I booked a double room for four people directly with Mirna Carillo, following her terms and conditions and receiving her confirmation, but when my family and I arrived, there was no reservation. Management's service and attitude were awful, and no one was ever at reception. We were refused four towels and told they only provide two, and that was our problem. In 15 years of traveling and writing reviews, I've never encountered a worse attitude. I'll never return.

The place is nice, but the service is terrible. There's no one in charge to talk to, especially at night if you need something. When the power goes out, the air conditioning stops and nobody comes to check on you or let you know what's happening. In the mornings, the only person you see is the cleaning lady. On days when you're staying there, they clean the pool, so you can't use it and lose a day you've paid for.
