B&B Mom's House

The room and beds were clean and comfortable, and Mary Jo was a lovely host. My dad and I enjoyed visiting with her. It was such a nice way to start the day with her delicious homemade breakfast, including vegan options. The marina restaurants were an easy, pleasant evening walk, and my dad loved looking at the boats.

Mary Jo is spectacular, and so is her place. She treats you like family and is one of the kindest, most helpful people I’ve met in a long time. Even after we’d left, she helped us out twice while we were still in Mexico.

We felt at home and very welcome here. The two dogs are lovely, the room and garden are nice, and there’s even a pool to relax by. The beach is close, too. The gated community feels very safe, everything is in good shape, and you can easily walk around. Mary Jo is a wonderful hostess who knows her way around and is happy to help with everything. She arranged a fantastic bullshark dive with Octavio in Playa del Carmen, and helped us sort out taxis, collectivos, restaurants, and onward travel to Cozumel. Breakfast was great, with lots of homemade things like cake, muffins, real bread, and marmalade.

Mary Jo is so sweet and a really good cook. I loved the cozy house, the nice room, and the great yard. There’s a pool shared with maybe 10 neighbors, and the house is on the golf course. I’d definitely come back.
