This is a beautiful, peaceful place, with nature and animals around, very private, spacious bedrooms, and excellent food and service. The activities were a highlight: Emanuel's yoga classes were wonderfully relaxing, and he took time to guide us. Dayana's patio tour was clear and informative, with the hotel's history and the stories behind its sculptures. The free snorkelling tour was well organized and a fun hour. Some things need attention for a five-star resort. There were no complimentary slippers, and towels weren't replaced unless we asked. The room cleaning could be better too. Our bathroom wasn't properly clean when we arrived, though staff came back and cleaned it when we pointed it out. When we left wet towels aside, housekeeping took them without leaving fresh ones, so we had to ask. Given the size of the property, it could use more golf carts and bikes. Some bikes were in poor condition and felt dangerous to ride. All in all, a great hotel for a vacation.

The atmosphere here is private and peaceful, a lovely setting for couples or anyone wanting to unwind in nature. We had a wonderful stay at Blue Diamond Resort and would consider coming back. The property is beautiful, clean, organized, and well maintained, with comfortable, quiet rooms. Staff throughout were consistently kind and professional, and it felt like they cared about guests having a good stay. There was some light construction noise during parts of the day, but it didn't spoil things. The resort still felt calm, and we could relax by the pool, walk around, and enjoy the different areas. It seems they're improving the facilities, which feels like a positive sign for the future. The scenery, service, and relaxed feel made the stay memorable.

The grounds and beach were stunning, and our room was better than we expected. The food was outstanding, with lots of choices and accommodations for different food sensitivities, which was wonderful for my mom. The staff were so kind and attentive. Felipe and Martin at the beach bar made our stay memorable, and Eduardo and Ramiro served incredible meals. Plenty of other staff stood out too. The service was top notch. This resort felt like paradise to us, and we'll definitely be back. Don't let the negative reviews put you off.

My wife booked a spa package ahead of time during a girls' trip, but the experience was stressful and disappointing, especially for the price. After she mentioned she was pregnant, the staff understandably said some products couldn't be used. Instead of adapting the massage or offering a prenatal option, though, they essentially removed that part of the package. She was left on a table with sticky substances on her limbs for a body wrap, which ended only when she said she was cold and very uncomfortable. The package also advertised a jacuzzi experience. The jets worked, but she was told she couldn't use them because of her pregnancy. What she got was a lukewarm bath with leaves and bugs in the water. After the earlier treatment left her undergarments wet, she had to ask for a fresh pair before the facial. That should have been handled without her needing to request it. The facial itself was basic and didn't match the premium price. When she raised concerns, staff first offered no real solution and said, “the package is what it is,” with no adjustments possible even though key parts hadn't been properly delivered. At checkout they offered 30% off, bringing the total to just over $400, but by then the stress and frustration had already happened. The discount felt like a reaction, not a sincere attempt to fix the problem. We strongly suggest asking detailed questions about pregnancy accommodations and getting pricing policies in writing before booking. Relaxation seekers, proceed with caution.
