Avoid this place. Just avoid it.

The owner made new arrivals feel right at home. It’s a friendly guesthouse, with a spacious, clean house and all the basics: toilet, bathroom, fitted kitchen, terrace, and a parking space out front. It’s in a private, secure square, very close to the beach and Playa del Carmen’s lively streets. Worth it.

The room had very little furniture, and breakfast was a mess. You have to prepare your own food in a kitchen that's dirty and run-down, and there's barely anything beyond toast and jam. The Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent. They didn't give me any change when I paid, but I returned it that night.
