Cozy & super spacious suite COLIBRI Playa d.Carmen

The rooms were spacious and really beautiful. My one wish during the stay was for a mini fridge, since I don’t enjoy room-temperature drinks when it’s over 30 degrees Celsius. The hotel is a little beyond plata del Carmen’s tourist area, so it costs less than most city hotels. Once you know how to use the collectivos, the distance isn’t much of an issue.

We’ve had such a happy holiday here. The service feels like a 5 star experience, and the owner and office staff are helpful and quick to respond. Everyone has been great, including Leibys the cleaner, who’s lovely and leaves the rooms spotless, and Ezequiel, the maintenance and service guy, who’s available whenever needed, 24hrs, and always smiling. The company is very professional and does everything it can to make your stay the best. Thanks everyone! 🙏🥰👍👍

That in-room jacuzzi was fantastic, and the room felt presidential even though we paid about what you’d pay at a regular hotel. I found it really good value for the money. If you’re okay taking a taxi or bus to the attractions near the coast, there’s no better option.

I’ll be back. The room was bright, clean, and spacious, and one of the staff kindly shared some of his own ice with me.
