For affordable rentals, I'd recommend Plaza San Carlos. There's an Oxxo downstairs, Mexico's most famous supermarket.

Great value and a great place to stay, close to the beach, restaurants, the farm, the highway, supermarkets, and bars. Everything is nearby.
2/10
The internet was terrible and simply didn't work. Cleaning was awful, and we had to ask for every faucet to be replaced because they were all broken. It was expensive, and we couldn't sleep any night because of the neighbors' noise and music. Management never did anything about it.
2/10
The place was dirty, had no water, and the air conditioning didn't work. I also saw lizards around. It was very expensive for that, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.
10/10
The place is furnished and has everything you need, plus the beach is just a short walk away.
