Hidden Beach Resort Au Naturel Adults Only, All & More Inclusive

There’s plenty of room to relax on your own, but it’s easy to spend time with other guests too. You can also use the wider resort, with its other beach activities, food options, programs, spa offerings, and more. Hidden Beach really is a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate, and the staff are exceptional: friendly, helpful, personable, and quick to remember who you are. The food is well above the usual resort standard, often like something from a high-end restaurant. Rooms are spacious and have what you need. The facilities are clean, work well, and feel nicely upscale casual, with the exercise equipment as the exception.

The people here are what made this a five-star stay for us. Staff across the resort, from the grounds and housekeeping teams to the office and restaurant staff, were top notch. They were warm, learned our names and preferences quickly, and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Martha, Angel and Ancieto were especially great in the restaurants. We felt like family, only the kind who are actually glad you’re there. Hidden Beach is intimate, beautiful, and secluded, about an hour and ten minutes south of Cancun. The property is well cared for and sits between two larger sister resorts, though you hardly notice them unless you choose to walk over for their free restaurants or to explore. There are some drawbacks. It’s expensive, toward the high end for an all-inclusive, and finding the hotel’s real booking site can be difficult with so many third-party sites posing as the booking agent. They also pitch a timeshare setup, with a big upfront payment for discounts over ten years. At HB the sales approach is low-key, though, since the place sells itself. The rooms are nice, but the large whirlpool tub takes up space that would be better used for a comfortable couch or chairs. There’s nowhere comfortable to sit besides the bed, and there are two hot tubs within a minute’s walk anyway. Even so, we think it’s one of the world’s premier clothing-optional resorts and the best on the Yucatan.

We always feel at home here because everyone welcomes us so warmly, as if we were their favorite people. There’s no single person to call out, it’s the whole staff. Hidden Beach Resort always makes our vacation feel special.

Ixchell and Carlos from the animation team made us feel at ease and truly welcome the whole time. And a special thanks to Ula, who arranged seven extra nights for us at this amazing hotel. The barman at The Moonlight gave us great service every time, as did all the other lovely staff. We had an incredible holiday and are already looking forward to coming back!
