HM Playa del Carmen

This isn’t an all-inclusive hotel, but it’s a great base if you’ll be out exploring or just want somewhere clean and safe to unwind. The central location puts shopping areas, clubs, and tour pickup points about 5 minute walks away. Cleanliness and safety were top-notch, and the reception, bar, and housekeeping staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. There’s also a travel desk where you can book tours, including popular outings like Xcaret park. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Don’t overthink it, just go for it!

The hotel exceeded what I expected. My family and I felt comfortable, and the welcoming staff were helpful. It’s well placed for food and the nightlife Playas has to offer. The included breakfast was satisfying and relaxing. There were plenty of tourists staying here, and I’d definitely come back. Great value.

The bed was comfy, the towels soft, and the shower pressure was great, with plenty of hot water. The A/C gets perfectly cold. I loved the pool too, even though it’s a little chilly.

The pool and its surroundings were spotless and beautifully kept, and the property and rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff stayed friendly and professional throughout, while security felt reassuring without being intrusive. I also enjoyed the happy hour deals and excellent breakfast. Looking forward to coming back next year.
