The staff were nice, but I had the worst sleep I've ever had. You could feel every spring in the beds, and the AC barely cooled anything, it felt like a sauna day and night. There was construction going on during the day that nobody mentioned before I booked. It was my first hostel stay, and I don't think I'll do that again. Use Airbnb instead.

Friendly, helpful staff and a clean room. The beds were comfortable enough, and the location worked well, with the beach close by and cheap food nearby.

A clean, good hostel, though sleeping on the plastic sheets was annoying.

Looks like it's permanently closed now. There's a new Humble Bumble in Tulum.
