The front desk kept things private and secure, making sure no one came in unless I wanted them to. I had friends over for dinner without any trouble, though I imagine being rowdy or very loud wouldn’t suit the atmosphere. It also felt very LGBTQ friendly and close to all the gay bars. I had a great time here. I booked through VRBO and ended up on the second floor at the very back, by the pool. The people I booked with, the tobacco revenue company, were quick to respond and very reasonable whenever I needed something.

Everything was clean and well looked after. There’s a rooftop pool, hot tub, and BBQ area, and the concierge by the entrance was really helpful. Restaurants, bars, markets, and the beach are all within walking distance, so you have what you need nearby.

The property is well looked after and has good staff, but the boulevard outside is busy and noisy. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony, and the living room furniture wasn’t comfortable for long-term renters.

You’re about two minutes from 5ta avenida, with its restaurants, shops, and bars, and the beach is around three blocks away. The place also has a gym, pool, jacuzzi, and grill area, so it’s a great spot for a vacation.

The apartment has two bedrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, and a kitchen with an oven and microwave. There’s free private parking, plus a fitness centre and a year-round outdoor pool. You can also rent a bicycle. It’s in the Centro district of Playa del Carmen. Kool Beach Club is 700 m away, and Church of Guadalupe is a 14-minute walk. ADO International Bus Station is 1.7 km away, Playa del Carmen Maritime Terminal is 1.9 km away, and Cozumel International Airport is 20 km away.
