Menesse On the Beach Apartment 4

We were eight adults in a four-bedroom, three-bathroom suite on Level 2 for five nights, from 2/23 to 2/27/22. The interiors were spacious and nicely furnished, and it was only a few blocks from the beach and close to the action on 5th Avenue. The room air conditioning worked very well, unlike the lobby. The tap water didn't make me sick. There was supposedly a pool, but nobody wanted to climb six flights to find it. The elevator stayed broken for our whole week, and I think it had been down for a while before that. Shower pressure was low, and there was no hot water in the showers, though the kitchen had hot water. The beds were the hardest and least comfortable I've ever slept on, so I barely slept. Internet was spotty at best, possibly because of the concrete walls in the area. There was construction noise across the street, but it wasn't too intrusive. On our last day I found that the bedroom window, which opens onto the lobby, hadn't been secure during our stay and couldn't be secured at all. I'll try somewhere else the next time I'm in Playa Del Carmen.

Six weeks ago they put two extra charges on my credit card. Now the phone is disconnected and my emails bounce back. I had to file a fraud dispute to get nearly 4000.00 dollars back. Don't rent here, they're crooks. I wish I could give them -10 stars.

It's quiet, the pool is amazing, and the doorman is usually there. The location is great too, close to Fifth Avenue and the beach.

The condos are very clean and well soundproofed. There's a bit of an echo in the room across from the elevator, but it was acceptable.
