The renovation is really sweet, and the rooms have beautiful colours. The hot water runs hot, the service is good, and there’s a cute little dipping pool and showers on the roof. The only problems were small blankets and a loud pump or something clicking on next to our rooms day and night. I wouldn’t recommend it for very small children because the stairs have no railings. Otherwise, it’s excellent.

A lovely, peaceful place for a week, with trees, birds, and beautiful colours and art that give it a soulful feel. I especially liked the refreshing rooftop pool for a dip in the hot weather. The neighborhood has good, affordable restaurants nearby, and the staff and owner are very gracious. Recommended.

The location made it easy to get around, with local buses nearby and the beach just next door. I also appreciated having drinking water available. Staff were genuinely helpful, and the place was cleaned almost every day, really well. I’d stay here again when I’m back. At night, I think the water filter makes some noise, and the outdoor lights may bother you depending on your room. Not a deal breaker, just something light sleepers should know.

The location was a plus: fairly near a public beach and set back a little from the main crowds. The room itself was awful. It smelled bad, including the bathroom, the sheets were dirty, and the towels looked ancient and barely dried me. I don’t think this place is worth paying for.
