Carlos was so caring and helpful when I got food poisoning from the street tacos. Apart from the rude cleaner man, everyone was great, so just avoid him and you'll have a five-star stay. I've stayed in lots of places in PDC, and this was the best value for the location and quality. Far enough from 5th that it's not too noisy, yet close enough that you don't need a cab.

The cheap price is tempting, but spend a few extra bucks for somewhere comfortable. The single room I booked had an extremely uncomfortable bed, like wooden crates with no support. Music from the bar around the corner was loud, and one day a band played, which was terrible. It went on until around 3 am. If you want to be tired and have back pain, this is your place. This is honestly the worst hostel I've stayed in anywhere. There's another hostel on the same street, closer to the beach, so try that or somewhere else. Don't ignore the reviews, this place sucks!

Worst hostel experience ever. The place looks like nobody has maintained it for years, the smell around it is awful, the double bed is tiny, and the kitchen tap barely has any pressure. A club right next door makes horrible noise all night, then construction starts at 9am, so sleeping in is impossible. There's nothing relaxing about staying here. Do yourself a favor and skip it. I'd give it minus stars if I could.

I paid $10 for a bed in the 8 bed shared dorm, but had the whole space to myself since nobody else was there. The breakfast was delicious, with coffee, juice, cereal, fresh fruit, pancakes, waffles, and pastries. This is one of the cutest, best hostels I've stayed in. Everything was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the AC unit was new and blew ice cold air. The bathroom stall doors have great paintings on them. There was a fun party around the pool at night, but if that's not your thing, close the door and you should sleep fine. My only slight issue was that the shower water didn't get very warm, though it was okay. A beautiful place.

The volunteers are a friendly team, and there's a dive shop on-site with a great crew too. The pool and garden are perfect for relaxing and socialising between tourist activities. Great place to stay for a great price. I'd definitely come back.
