Room in Condo - Superior Studio 06 Aquamarina Suites

We've stayed here twice now and plan to come back. It's a small boutique hotel with 12 rooms, near the beach and restaurants, and the rates feel inexpensive for what you get. The owner/manager was great and accommodating when we booked all the rooms for a birthday celebration.

This place felt more like apartments than a hotel. It was hard to find because Aquamarina Suites isn't shown outside, only inside. The good parts were the location near the beach and 5th Avenue, free access to Martina Beach, reliable WiFi, and daily housekeeping that kept the room clean. Breakfast came from a menu with just three choices, and I was bored with it after two days. I wouldn't spend extra on it. The rooms need upkeep too: there was an old bathroom mirror and water leaking from the refrigerator. I also had to pay cash because cards weren't accepted. There was only one ceiling light, with no light by the nightstand.

We found a roach on the bed. Nobody answered when we tried to report it, so we moved to another hotel. They refused a refund, cancelled our reservation for the next day, and still kept our credit card details. They act as if they don't speak English and give a false contact number. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The photo is only of the reception. We didn't take a picture of the cockroach in the room.

A lovely property out in the sprawl of the colosio. The shower was fantastic, and the place was clean, with good AC and WiFi. It's close to a decent beach while still a nice distance from 5th ave. Oxxo is only 50 ft. away, and there are good restaurants with local prices. Fantastic!
