Suite Riviera 219 “Rooftop Pool”

I live here, and for the price, you can’t beat it!

It’s a great fit for a couple or a family with one child, and there’s parking available when you arrive, though spaces are not assigned. Suites Riviera is well located and more affordable. Centro Maya is within walking distance, and there’s a laundromat, convenience stores, and a beautiful church nearby. The quiet is a big plus. Unlike studios near Fifth Avenue surrounded by bars and restaurants, the noise here isn’t constant. There’s 24-hour security, and it feels very safe. The pool is pleasantly warm, and the rooftop garden is kept up nicely and makes a lovely spot for Instagram photos. You can find the accommodation on RBNB.

The power goes out often, which leaves you unable to live comfortably in the apartment since the water, internet, and kitchen all depend on electricity. The internet doesn’t work, and you’re not allowed to switch providers or they fine you. The elevator has been out for three weeks, and access to the rooftop is denied because some owners haven’t paid. Those of us who are paying still can’t use it, and they kick you out and fine you. The place feels like a prison and is far from everything. You have to ask permission from a management team that’s never around. Reception just says, “It’s already been reported,” and leaves it at that. The Argentinian cleaning lady files reports about everything, even walking. The terrible management made paying to stay here a terrible decision. Don’t rent here, long-term or for vacation, or you’ll have a terrible time. Welcome to Riviera Suites! 😉
