The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya

Breakfast had lots of great choices and everything tasted fresh. The location is perfect, especially with the beach so close. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and everyone at kids club was fantastic. We felt comfortable leaving our kid there. We had an amazing stay, with excellent service from start to finish, and I’d definitely stay again.

The property is beautiful, but the service throughout the hotel fell well short of what I’ve experienced at The St. Regis Maldives and The St. Regis Dubai. Thalia at reception was the exception, and she’s the main reason my stay at the St. Regis Kanai was enjoyable. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, professional, and genuinely caring. She paid attention, anticipated what I needed, and went out of her way to make the stay smooth and pleasant. Thalia showed what hospitality should feel like and deserves special recognition. I hope management acknowledges her contribution, because she raises the guest experience far beyond what the rest of the property offers.

My family and I arrived at The St. Regis Kanai Resort toward the end of July and were welcomed warmly. The architecture, design, and surrounding vegetation work beautifully together and feel thoughtfully connected to the land. A highlight was our butler, Alex, with whom we formed a genuine connection. He was attentive throughout and handled every part of the vacation with care and efficiency. The spa was another standout. Marlene looked after my mother with real professionalism and kindness, offering compassion, understanding, and openness that she deeply appreciated. The food was refined, flavorful, and carefully made, unlike typical hotel cuisine. The resort has a remarkable range of services and lives up to its reputation for luxury and elegance. Every touch and gesture felt exquisite.

Elpidio and Erick made our vacation extraordinary. They were always available without being intrusive, and their warmth and professionalism made us feel like the only guests there. They anticipated what we needed, from pressing a suit for a last-minute dinner reservation to bringing morning coffee right on time with a warm smile. Their evening turndown service was peaceful and had thoughtful touches. The property is stunning, and we were met with elegance and impeccable service as soon as we arrived. The butlers represent the St. Regis brand so well. I can’t recommend The St. Regis enough. If you’re lucky enough to have Elpidio and Erick as your butlers, you’re in for a world-class stay.
