Reliable, fast internet mattered a lot to me, and the connection was around 45 MPS for both uploads and downloads. The hotel is quiet and relaxing, yet centrally located, and I doubt you could find this level of service and amenities for anywhere near the same price around Poza Rica. I’d recommend hotel Florencia to solo travelers, couples, families, and business people. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of hot water, functional furniture in good condition, modern bathroom fixtures, and comfortable mattresses. The restaurant served tasty food at moderate prices. Florencia pays attention to little things, from towels folded into crowns on the beds to the range of good salsas in the restaurant. Service was excellent all the way from my first call about prices, amenities, and reservations through checkout. The staff really made an effort to help and create a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.

The cable TV was limited and kept acting up. Service was poor too: staff could be rude, towels were taken away, and they weren't replaced or the room cleaned right away. There was just one towel, which doesn't work well for two or more people, and they didn't seem to consider that when checking guests in. The rooms are minimalist, with only a small soap bar and a little shampoo.
