The neighborhood felt safe and had plenty of places to eat, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Room 10 on the third floor was nice, though the washroom was a bit too small, which might be less of an issue in the bigger rooms. The windows and doors kept out street noise. We stayed 6 nights, but the service was underwhelming. We sent requests through Whatsapp and didn't always hear back. They skipped cleaning our room one day, even though we left a small tip every day. The balcony was never swept during our stay, and the chairs weren't cleaned either. The room also had a strong cologne smell, so be warned if you're sensitive to scents. For what we paid, it felt a little disappointing. If you're visiting CDMX on vacation, consider Coyoacán instead of Condesa. Condesa is very gentrified and seems geared toward North American expats.

Francisco was always around when we needed something and glad to help. The place is roomy, nicely designed, and really comfortable. The huge bed was cozy, with lots of pillows and blankets, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Light comes in through the big balcony window, though closing the curtains makes it dark enough to sleep. The bathroom felt amazing and relaxing, and the small kitchen was handy too. Highly recommended!

The Wi-Fi worked well for remote work and video calls, and the location was convenient, near plenty of things but still pretty calm and accessible. We loved how thoughtfully designed the rooms were, down to the lovely accent details. Francisco and the team helped us get set up with everything, so we had no questions or issues during our stay. We didn't try the bar or restaurants downstairs, but we're looking forward to coming back.

We loved staying at El Alfonsa and hope to come back soon. The neighborhood was leafy and quiet, with lots of restaurants, shops, and cafes to explore. Our room felt like home, modern and well equipped. After days out exploring, we usually ended up at the ground-floor restaurant, oly. Francisco was available with recommendations whenever we had a question.
