I’m already missing Bamboo Mansion and hope I can return soon to explore Polanco more and see how the plants have grown. During my 11-day visit to Mexico City in November, the place felt like home. I loved the metal structure integrated into the building, the tropical greenery, and all the quirky details. As someone who loves plants and nature, I was in my element. Jo even let me water the plants, which gave me a close look at them and some much-needed exercise after all the food. Booking was easy. I arranged it with Matt on WhatsApp and paid by card, then Jo showed me to my room, made me feel welcome, and shared food recommendations that were all amazing.

I wish I’d stayed longer. I had the apartment inside the mansion, with my own kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom, and the patios were great for relaxing. I loved the jungle feel throughout the property. It’s an apartment, mansion, and hostel all in one, so solo travelers, couples, or groups of friends should all love it. I’ll be back!

Mansion Bamboo feels like a hidden gem in CDMX, and staying there is an experience in itself. Matt and Jo were wonderful hosts. I’d be glad to stay again.

The hostesses were AMAZING, and the place was very clean. I loved the beautiful patios and traditional feel, along with the loft’s large indoor-outdoor terrace and all its plants. It’s in a trendy neighborhood with leafy trees, wide avenues, and Art Nouveau mansions. Thank you 💜
