Hotel Marbella

I travel alone, so being able to use public transportation easily matters a lot to me. Hospital Gemeral subway station is right beside the hotel, which made it possible to get around anywhere, including to the new airport. The location is excellent, there’s plenty of good food nearby, and the staff are nice and helpful.

The only person who made a positive impression was Manager Lorena Morales. She stepped in and was genuinely helpful and professional. The rest of the stay fell far short of what I expected. We arrived around 11 PM and found that the reservation had been made for one king bed instead of two separate beds, so we had to move rooms the next day. Then the cooling system in the second room didn’t work beyond fan mode, which meant packing up and moving again. Service was frustrating throughout. When I asked for hot water, staff told me to go to 7/11, and even basic requests seemed like a burden. When we asked for the manager, the female concierge first said she wasn’t on the premises. A few moments later the manager appeared, though she’d been there all along. I’m grateful to Manager Lorena Morales for helping, but overall the experience was disappointing.

After misleading ads at other places, this was a huge relief. The hotel was just as advertised, clean, quiet, and honest, and the staff were kind and quick to help. It’s a safe, reliable option at a good price. A real lifesaver. Book here from the start.

A good hotel close to the hospital, with a metro station and a mall within walking distance. Just don’t leave the air conditioning running all the time, or it goes out.
