The staff were wonderful and really accommodating. They happily stored our bags before check-in and after checkout, and the location was great too. We spent five days in the Cozy Queen Room. Its window looks onto the lobby, and because this is a heritage building, there’s no AC. Even with two fans, our room got hot and humid. It was on the ground floor, though the noise didn’t bother us much, and the hotel supplies earplugs. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but next time I’d pick somewhere with AC. If you can, I’d also pay a bit more for a room with a street view. Don’t miss Panaderia Gala across the street. We stopped by several times and loved eating pastries in the courtyard. That was one of the best parts of the trip!

We brought a group of 33 to Santa Casa for four nights, and the whole experience felt welcoming. The rooms were clean, the housekeepers were lovely, and the property itself is beautiful, full of culture. We felt right at home. Ricardo was gracious and helped us book the property. Before we arrived, the team accepted several Uber Eats deliveries and put everything we’d ordered in the rooms. Adolfo, Alejandra, J.B, Maricio and all of the General Managers were kind, patient, and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’d recommend Santa Casa wholeheartedly. Why stay at a Marriott or Hilton when this is an option?

The hotel and rooms are beautiful, and the staff were great throughout our stay, especially their GM. I loved the toiletries, and the bed was super comfortable. The location is fantastic for exploring Roma and CDMX, though being in such a prime spot does mean some noise. We had a street-facing window, but it wasn’t extreme compared with other city hotels I’ve stayed in. There’s a rooftop bar next door; its noise never became unbearable, and it wrapped up around 10 pm. I’m not sure what others meant about a nightclub going until 4 am. The hotel provides earplugs and a sound machine, too. I’d absolutely recommend it if you want a distinctive boutique hotel in a great location, and I’d come back. One thing to know: if you book through an OTA, contact the hotel yourself for the registration details, since they won’t have your email address.

Adolfo did a lot to sort things out when a booking date mix-up came up. I’d booked through my credit card, and the reservation ended a day before the date shown on our confirmation. We couldn’t tell whether the hotel or the card company had made the mistake. We had to switch rooms partway through, but Adolfo arranged the last night, moved our luggage, and made sure we still got the stay we’d hoped for. We’re very grateful and would recommend it. The hotel is a well-kept historic building in a lively area, but it sits on a quiet street. We could walk almost everywhere, though some museums meant a longer walk. Our rooms were clean, bright, and lovely, with windows onto peaceful courtyards, and we didn’t have trouble with city noise. The bathrooms have been beautifully updated, but the showers spilled a little water onto the floor. Water also took a while to heat up, though it did eventually. We stayed in two rooms, and not all have AC, so bear that in mind if you want modern comforts. The service was incredible. Adolfo, who welcomed us, said management had changed in the last few months, perhaps at the beginning of 2026, so that may explain our positive experience.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the team, especially Adolfo, were very accommodating with local tips and recommendations. It was a lovely boutique-style hotel in the beautiful Roma Norte neighborhood, with luxury-level service. I’d happily come back.
