Casa Playa Baja

Casa Playa gave us the quiet, small-town stay we wanted, with rooms that were beautiful and a convenient spot near restaurants and shopping. We arrived after 11pm without a reservation, and they kindly found us a room. The next morning we realized what a lovely place we’d found. It feels authentically Mexican, with a safe, private setting and plenty to do. The pool, hot tub, and private beach overlooking the ocean made for a relaxing weekend, and the staff was always around and wonderful. This is the only place we stay in Mexico now. The hospitality is unmatched, and we’ll be back. There’s a private beach for sunset walks, and the resort is close to good restaurants, taco stands, and weekend outdoor markets. Baja Pig was our favorite. Help was available 24/7. Special thanks to Ulga for her amazing home-cooked meals. Casa Playa was everything we hoped for and more.

The ceviche was great, served right by the water while we watched dolphins and sea lions. Everything was super clean, and the king beds were comfy. Security was the best, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

We decided at the last minute to get a day pass for the family, and Dave, Olga, and the crew got everything ready for us. They opened a poolside suite, brought food and drinks while we relaxed by the pool, and made us feel right at home.

I loved how much space and privacy each room has, and they look great too. This place is something else. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it.
