The location made everything convenient, with the beach nearby and a convenience store close by. Maria was so kind and welcoming, and explained everything clearly. As soon as I arrived, she suggested some amazing local food spots, which was a huge plus. The bathroom was extremely clean, which I really appreciated. The dogs barked a lot when I first arrived, almost like a doorbell, but once I was inside they were gentle and adorable. They're SO cute. Highly recommended! 💛

The beds in our private room were uncomfortable, and I didn't sleep. The neighbor screamed all night. It's a terrible place, and there are better ones in town. MUST DO BETTER! A business should take responsibility instead of making excuses. Comments are there to help you grow. The funny thing is, you say I'm this person, but I'm not. Sorry, wrong client.

The owner was friendly and always ready to help with questions or recommendations, and the hostel was impeccably clean throughout my two-week stay at Áabilo’ob hostel. The location is convenient too, with the beach about a 10-minute walk away and several charming restaurants nearby. The shared kitchen has plenty of plates and cooking utensils, so you can make your own meals and save on food costs. It's an inexpensive place with cleanliness, friendliness, and convenience. Maria went above and beyond to help us get to know the local area and feel comfortable. The hostel has a lovely atmosphere, comfortable beds, and a quiet dorm. There are lots of amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus free drinking water and bikes for rent. It's easily the cheapest way to stay in Progreso. Big recommendation!

Maria was really nice and helpful, with lots of tips on where to go. She also locked up my scooter for me, which was very useful. The hostel is in a very good location, and the beds are comfy. It's a no-nonsense, incredibly clean and welcoming place with everything you need. Loved the two lovely dogs!
