The breakfast was delicious, and there was plenty of it. Our room had a terrace where we could watch sunrises and sunsets, with views of the volcanos. The hotel is at the edge of the historic center, and it was quiet during our stay, though being across from the lucha libre arena might mean more noise on Saturdays. The room was clean, with nice beds and a comfortable shower, and parking was free. The hotel itself is really interesting, and we'd definitely come back. The staff were incredible, so friendly and helpful. I wanted to write a review to thank them for their service.

We enjoyed lounging on the rooftop terrace and looking at Popocatépetl. Hotel Posada XVII is a joy to explore, with a beautiful room and friendly, helpful staff. Markets and Zócalo were an easy walk away, and breakfast was a treat. I'd highly recommend it to visitors to Puebla.

The terrace had a great view, including Volcán Popocatépetl, and the breakfast is worth getting. The shower was great, and the beds were super comfortable. Everyone was so nice, and I love this one of a kind hotel. It's very cool and really well maintained.

The shower had better pressure and temperature than at the other hotels we stayed in on this trip, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were warm and attentive, and the place was clean and well looked after. It sits in a walkable historic neighborhood on the edge of the UNESCO heritage area. The doors can be awkward and the outlets aren’t ideally placed, but that’s understandable in a centuries-old building. The rest was beyond what I expected.

We stayed in El Balcón, which I really liked. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and stayed cool enough for us despite the lack of air conditioning in the old building. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel Posada is across from Puebla Arena, with the main sights, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance. Breakfast is offered at the restaurant at a reasonable price, though we didn’t try it. Such a beautiful, unusual place. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puebla.
