JF Grand Puebla

I spent a month at Hotel JF Grand in Puebla on a work trip, and it started to feel like home. The staff put in a lot of effort and attention to detail, and I'm grateful for that. It's in a safe area, with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops along Avenida Juarez. The rooms are nice and have high-quality beds, and the hotel bar serves amazing food. I'd definitely recommend staying here when you're visiting Puebla.

Just stayed overnight, and it was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

They tried to charge us extra twice, saying our room wasn't ready even though it was check-in time. We wouldn't pay extra for another room and accepted a reimbursement instead. They handed us our keys right away, though, so the rooms must have been ready. The hotel is advertised as five stars, but at the desk they said it was three to four.

The restaurant food was delicious, and you could tell a lot of care went into each meal. When I raised a complaint about another guest, the staff dealt with it right away. They looked after all of us, including my cat, who got treats and a cat bed. I asked for a great view from a top-floor room and got exactly that, and we could use the gym and business center. Everyone from the doorman to reception and the bellhops made me feel taken care of. This is the only hotel I'd choose in Puebla, and I can see why it's rated five stars. If I didn't already live here, it would be my go-to; even my daughter wants to return for a staycation. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the finer things.
