We cooked most of our meals in the shared kitchen, and even got a little work done while watching for whales from the balcony. Mikey is welcoming, and there are some cute animals around too. It’s a short trip from the more touristy areas, with three small bays nearby for swimming and snorkeling, plus lots of friendly people. Felt like home.

Michael is a really friendly host and went out of his way to make guests feel at home. The location is the best part: Playa Estacahuite is only a few yards away, so you can wake up to the waves and be in the water seconds after leaving your door. It’s easy to go from coffee on the terrace to snorkeling in the bay.

Michael and his roommate Eddie were friendly and helpful from the minute I arrived, and I felt comfortable and looked after the whole time. The place was spotless, and the kitchen had all the equipment I needed. The beach is just a short walk away. I had a great stay and would come back.

Mike was away, but stayed easy to reach by phone and was incredibly helpful and friendly. Eddie made us feel relaxed right away and checked that we had what we needed. The sunrise views were amazing, and there’s a beautiful beach right nearby, the best around here in my opinion. We snorkeled and saw some incredible fish. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The staff make you feel right at home, and the whole place gets a 10/10 from us. It’s beside the beach, with cozy rooms and terraces overlooking the ocean. There’s a great pool, restaurants nearby, and good snorkeling right outside. / Emil, Matilda and Hugo Sweden
