Ramiro and Dulce welcomed us with so much warmth and hospitality that we felt at home immediately. Casa Morena has a wonderful atmosphere and is tastefully furnished in a modern style. From the terrace and the room windows, the view over La Boquilla Bay is breathtaking. Every morning brought a freshly prepared, phenomenal Mexican breakfast with plenty of variety. The hotel is well equipped for a beach day, with towels, diving goggles, body boards, umbrellas, and more, so you hardly need to bring anything. Our rooms were cleaned daily, and towels were changed on request for ecological reasons, which we appreciated. Our stay was special and far beyond what we expected. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

I’m giving it zero stars because that isn’t an option. My family and I traveled seven hours for our vacation, only to find the place closed when we arrived. Even though we had a confirmation email and reservation number, they said they knew nothing about our booking. Communication was scarce, and there was no solution. They didn’t contact us afterward or offer compensation. We had to stay somewhere completely different, and our vacation was drastically changed by this “minor inconvenience.” They said there were guests, but the place wasn’t clean or even open. The main entrance was chained shut. Finding somewhere for 10 people during Holy Week became very complicated. Edit: Thanks for responding, but we were never offered free accommodation. The invoices for the days we had to stay elsewhere are proof. The reservation management was terrible. Later, they told us this happens often, so it doesn’t seem to be a platform issue. It seems they simply haven’t paid attention to it.

I loved the place as a spot to disconnect and relax. Dulce and Ramiro are very attentive, and it’s absolutely worth the trip. The sea is open, there’s no pool, and it’s beautiful. Bring insect repellent, and it’s a good idea to stock up on basics like beer and cheese before you arrive. It’s remote, delivery can cost up to $200 per order, and service is slow, so order meals an hour ahead. The access road is 3 km of dirt, so renting a car or bringing a truck is best. There’s no cell reception, but the Wi-Fi is good.

A peaceful, private place where it’s easy to relax and enjoy nature. The house has everything you need, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It’s only a few meters from the beach. Keep in mind that renting a car is recommended and cell reception isn’t very good, but the experience is well worth it.
