The hotel has a quiet, family-friendly feel, with a nice antique style and a clean appearance. We had a free continental breakfast, and there’s a nice restaurant below the hotel with live music in both English and Spanish. It was our first time in Tecate, and the walk across the border was easy. A friend gave us a ride to and from the hotel. We’d definitely return and recommend it to others.

We stay here whenever we visit Tecate, and the stay and restaurant are both amazing. I do have a complaint about the woman serving chilaquiles at Sunday breakfast. Every time we come down, she doesn’t greet us or ask what we’d like. She just looks at us without speaking, and when we ask for chilaquiles, she rolls her eyes. That particular staff member is rude and gives no customer service. I’m not saying all the staff are like that, but customer service should always go above and beyond.

We’d stay here again. The room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfy, and the towels were nice. Service was wonderful, breakfast was great, and the coffee was good. The pool area was also nice, with seating and lawn games.
