It’s a nice space, especially if you’d rather explore than spend most of your time in the room. We stayed three nights, and the rooms were spacious enough and cleaned daily. You’re right in the middle of things and close to the beach, though there are a few bars downstairs and the doors don’t block much sound, so it stays loud until around midnight. The drainage had a bit of a smell, which I’ve found isn’t unusual in Mexico. In the morning, you can hear two parrots across the way; sometimes they imitate kids laughing and playing.

The beach was just steps away, and there was good food nearby with everything very walkable. But the sea view in the listing was completely inaccurate. The hut sits among a lot of construction, hotels, bars, and restaurants, so there’s not much privacy. Curtains on the balcony do help block things out when you want a bit more quiet and privacy. It wasn’t really a room, more of a very cute tiki hut, which surprised me because that’s not how it was described. I’d return for the unbeatable beach access, but the photos make this perfectly okay place look different from what I expected.

•May 2025• The room itself was great, and the AC worked perfectly. The location was great too. WiFi was hit or miss during the few days I was there, and it got noisy early in the morning, so it may not suit you if you want to sleep in.

A good place for food, surfing, and relaxing, with really friendly, excellent staff. It’s right in the action, which is handy if you surf every day: you can walk straight to the surf and leave your things there. It does get noisy, as others have mentioned, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep before midnight. From about 1am to 8am it was pretty much quiet apart from the birds. The fans and mosquito nets made sleeping comfortable. The shower heads were typical.

Worst hotel experience of my life, and I’ve stayed in some absolute hell holes. The host tried to scam money from me and kept harassing me after my stay. The toilets and showers didn’t work. Sweltering heat with no working shower or toilet is like sewage with birthday cake.
