Casa Majagua

Roberto greeted us when we arrived and was quick to answer questions throughout our week at Casa Majagua with friends. A few things came up unexpectedly, but he sorted them out fast and was very pleasant to deal with. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price felt fair for what we got. The beach is just a 10 minute walk away. We also made friends with a lovely cat, and it was handy that scooters were available to rent right there.

Having visited Puerto five times over the last few years, this has been my favorite place to stay so far. The studio was comfortable in summer heat, with AC and a fan, a TV with the usual streaming options, and a softer bedside light that was nice for winding down. I liked having a private terrace with a kitchen and hammock, too. Roberto was helpful from booking through checkout, including arranging rides to and from the airport. He rents ATVs and scooters on site, provided a helmet, had the ATV fueled up before I arrived, and showed me how to use it. Great value. I can't recommend Casa Majagua and Roberto enough!

A good choice if you want a quiet neighborhood a few minutes' drive from the beach. The host was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, cozy, and roomy enough for one person staying longer.

The hosts made me feel very welcome, and Casa Majagua in Puerto Escondido was beautifully designed and in a great location. They made my stay feel special, and I’m very grateful. I’d highly recommend it for a relaxing, memorable visit to Puerto Escondido!
