Nopalero Hostel

The quieter location made this feel like a little oasis away from the city noise. Everything was clean, from the rooms and bathrooms to the showers, kitchen, common areas, and pool. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed, and breakfast was included. Staff were super friendly and helpful. There was even a fresh herb garden we could pick from. One of the best hostel stays I’ve had.

This was the most spacious and comfortable hostel I’ve stayed in, and it was super clean. They’ve thought of lots of details travelers need and offer plenty of activities. Gianna and Angel gave me such a warm welcome, showed me around, and were both really friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to friends.

One of our favorite hostels we’ve stayed in. It has a really friendly, social feel, but there aren’t forced parties or drinking, which makes the atmosphere so nice. The pool was great to have in the heat, and there are plenty of spots to relax. The rooms were comfy, clean, and well equipped, and the big kitchen had lots of cooking gear. Staff were friendly and helpful, organizing activities and keen to set up surf lessons and tours at a really good price. It feels like a lovely little oasis in Puerto Escondido.

I loved staying here. Everyone I met was great, and it attracts a good crowd without feeling like a party hostel. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxed, and I liked the free bikes. I could lock my scooter inside at night, which was a plus. Rooms and showers were clean, and the beds had really nice pillows and a great fan/A/C. The kitchen was well equipped and always clean, and I especially liked the garden for yoga and meditation in the mornings. Emma and Paula were so kind and generous, helped me with my Spanish, and gave me great tips while I cooked local food. Highly recommend!
