Secret Beach Hostel

The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Lockers are spacious and even have a little light, so you won’t disturb everyone when you need something at night. The shower has good pressure, and they give each person a lovely-smelling soap that helps get the sand off. It’s in a perfect spot, quieter than la punta but still walkable to everything, with taxis or a collectivo easy to catch from the upper main road. I had a few minor suggestions, and the owner took them well. The place will be even better. I’ll be back!

The bar, café, and restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the dorms were nice and cleaned very well. The hostel’s balcony is a great extra, with yoga mats, good shade, and water refills. The staff were great and helped me out after checkout since my flight wasn’t leaving until later that night.

The Palapita Bar attached to the hostel was a great spot for food, drinks, and relaxing. They also run a few activities during the week, enough to keep it fun without overdoing it. The hostel was really clean, with comfortable beds, privacy curtains, and spacious lockers. It’s right by the beach, which made starting the day with yoga and a swim amazing. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Belen at reception and Miriam, who kept everything spotless. I’d definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our time at Secret Beach Hostel. The yoga classes were superb, and extra thanks to Luisa, our amazing host. She was always available and helped us out. The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and always clean.
