Caro was the best hostel host I’ve had, with great tips for travel and fun things to do. The staff have made the place warm and welcoming for travelers. If the mangos happen to be ripe while you’re there, they’re some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend!

I spent two weeks working here with Caro and Marci, and loved it. They’re amazing, and the space they’ve created is beautiful. The location is great, with markets, food, and beaches all within walking distance. The private rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. Good WiFi and lots of hammocks too 😀

Caro & Marco are the loveliest, most down-to-earth hostel owners I’ve met. They’re friendly and relaxed, and really make you feel at home. The volunteer, Jhin, is a cool guy who’s always happy to help or play cards 🤪 If you want great vibes in Puerto Escondido, Villa Mango is the place!

The hammock-filled house made a lovely place to unwind, chat, have a cheap drink, and meet people. Manuela is a delightful host, and she made the stay special for me and my girlfriend. If you have a few days in Puerto Escondido, I’d stay here.

Caro and Sandy were great about answering questions and sharing ideas for things to do nearby. There’s also tasty local food just around the corner. The place itself is clean, relaxing, and has a really good atmosphere.
