The beach and location were the highlights for me. It’s right in town, the beach is lovely, and there are plenty of loungers. The place was clean and attached to a nice bar, and I thought the price was fair for what you get. Service depended on who was working: one woman wouldn’t give us an extra towel and said we only got one per day, but when she left, the man gave me one. The bed was hard, the mattress thin, towels rough, and there were no washcloths.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the beach club was quite nice. Breakfast at ki restaurant was quite good too. But the building is in poor shape: the bed felt like a concrete pad, the pillows weren’t any better, the doors barely shut, and there was no safe in the room. We booked two hotels on one side but were sent to the other side, and the place seemed short-staffed. Food and drinks took a long time. The location is excellent, right by the beach.

In 2026, I’d say don’t stay here. The hotel changed ownership recently, and the reviews haven’t caught up. Our group had five rooms; three people left after the first night, even without getting their money back. The only two who stayed were vacationing without their partners. The room wasn’t properly cleaned. Some surfaces looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, maybe longer. My mattress was completely worn out, with one side sunk in. There were no real amenities: the TV and safe were broken, and there was no clock, coffee, iron, or hair dryer. Electrical wires were exposed all over. Hot water worked sometimes and failed other times. Some kind of water pump or filtration system made loud noises at random, making it hard to sleep. I’ve stayed in well over a thousand hotels, and this is the worst one I’ve ever paid for. I spent six months in Iraq in 2005 sharing a temporary shelter with seven other guys, and that was nicer than this. Take my word for it and don’t waste your money here.

I was charged at the desk at double the rate I’d been quoted when I booked, and the room was filthy. The bathroom smelled of sewage the whole time, and the toilet broke on our last night. There was no mirror, no closet hangers, and the towels were frayed. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I paid the rate of a three-star hotel, but these problems might’ve been tolerable at a hostel charging $50 a night. Don’t waste your money. Anywhere else would be better than this disgusting hellhole.

The photos are incredibly misleading, and the furniture looks decades old. All the tables are chipped and clearly need replacing. There’s almost nothing provided beyond towels and soap. The shower water never even gets warm, the blanket is just a top sheet, and the toilet water is yellow. I don’t know how Google rates this place at four stars. It’s more like a one-star hotel, and the worst place I’ve stayed. Don’t stay here.
