Hotel Baja

The door didn’t close all the way and felt insecure, which left me feeling unsafe during my stay. The room was noticeably dirty, and there were no towels for hands or feet in the bathroom. The pillows were old and looked far from the fresh, clean white ones you’d expect. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a clean, secure place.

I’ve stayed here a few times. The water came out hot, and although the beds were clean, there were random hairs on them. At least there were no bed bugs, and I slept well. The beds could be better, though most hotels seem to have that problem these days. Every room was on the second floor or higher, and the AC had no display but got super cold. They let me bring my sick dog, who needed a vet visit.

The reviews with low ratings are telling the truth. The bed had springs sticking out, and this cheap hotel costs way too much. Other places charge the same and are far better, like Playa Bonita hotel. I’m not coming back. Turn around and stay somewhere else.

The staff were friendly, and the pool has a swim-up bar. The location is great, tucked away from the city noise, and the rooms are spacious. But the bed felt like bricks with a tiny, thin mattress, and I woke up very sore. The towels had lipstick on them and hadn’t been changed from the previous guests. It’s an affordable room for a short stay.
