The new third Phase at Las Palomas looks beautiful. One building is up and operating, with a few rooms finished, while plenty of rooms are still being worked on and the second building is under construction. The tiki bar, negative edge pool, and swim-up bar look great, and there are lots of lounge chairs and cabanas. The bar and restaurant are open. They’ve done an excellent job making it feel like a luxury resort. I highly recommend checking it out.

We stayed in unit K902 on the 9th floor, and it was so worth it. The room was good, the view and sunsets were amazing, and the staff were courteous and helpful. A very nice place with good service.

The dining options are limited, so I’d give the resort four stars. There is a restaurant on site called Citron, though, and it’s really good. It’s a laid-back beach with lots of water sports, but when the wind picks up, paddle boarding can be nearly impossible. The resort can get wild at times, especially around major holidays. Vendors sell all kinds of things, including homemade authentic tortillas, burritos, fish meals, and Piña colada adult beverages. There’s also a fitness facility with everything you need for a good workout.

There’s plenty to try, from fishing and flying to all the rentals. The ocean is warm, the dining is excellent, and the people are great. Service was excellent, and everything felt clean and safe.

The pool was still under renovation, but the view was really nice and the place felt relaxing.
