Deck 12 Puerto Vallarta

The view is amazing, and the location is handy, with two supermarkets close by and the beach and marina just a five minute walk away. There’s free parking and hot water. But being near the highway makes it extremely noisy, and I could barely sleep. Definitely not somewhere I’d choose for a long stay.

A great buffet for $65 pesos and a perfect place to meet up. It’s directly across from the cruise ship port and the bird of prey rehabilitation location. It’s better than the other “CL” a block or so away. There’s daily bingo, but watch out with the promotion: when you get a card to play with by providing your passport, you get promotion money, but not if you add money. I missed out on that promotion.

Deck 12 has the ocean and city views you dream about, plus a central location near everything you need. It gets noisy at night, since vacationers like to party on the water, but that’s part of the scene. For a million dollar view, I’ll take the tradeoff, buy earplugs, and enjoy it. Love it.

We had eight family members across two units at deck 12, and everyone had a wonderful time. The back views are breathtaking, while the front looks beautiful too, with sunsets over the ocean each day and cruise ships docking in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to get around by bus. Next door, cerveceria capultepec served great food and service at a great price. We’ll definitely return. I’d choose the grocery store over Walmart, which was absolute chaos. Hasta la Vista Puerto Vallarta!
