Hotel and Suites Malecon Sunset

Our room opened onto the back street and felt like a little apartment, with a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, and what we needed to cook. It’s a handy spot for a short stay since shops, supermarkets, restaurants, the market, and fast food are all close, so finding things was easy. Traffic gets heavy on that street at certain times, though it seemed to last only a couple of hours at night. There’s no pool, so keep that in mind if you need one.

Everything we wanted was close by, from shopping centers and restaurants to bars and the beach. The hotel is only a block from the boardwalk, and I liked staying there.

I was especially taken with the variety of rooms. There seems to be an option for every kind of traveler, and the manager was attentive.

The service was great, and the hotel was comfortable. I had an excellent stay.
